PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly restart an engine after the engine has been stopped by holding the fuel pressure of an injector under the specific minimum pressure necessary for restarting when the engine is stopped in a device where the fuel in a fuel tank is forced fed to the injector by a fuel pump. SOLUTION: Whether an ignition key is turned off or not is constantly confirmed at a specified timing when an ECU 22 is switched on, and a driving signal to a fuel pump is stopped when the ignition key is off. Then the time after the switching-off of the ignition key is counted, and whether the time reaches a predetermined specified time or not, is confirmed. When the time reaches the specified time, a main power source of the ECU 22 is turned off, the ignition of engine is stopped, and the injection of an injector is stopped. Whereby the fuel pressure in the injector 20 can be kept under the specified pressure, and the engine 1 can be immediately started when the engine is to be restarted. |
