PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth brush which can access well under the gum, is gentle to the soft tissue in the mouth, and does not give irritation. SOLUTION: A brush head part 1 of this tooth brush is equipped with almost mutually parallel bundles of bristles 3 arranged in plural rows. The rows of the bristles 3 comprise outside rows neighboring in the periphery of the brush head part and at least one inside row. Free ends of the inside bristles 12 are preferably polished and bristle points of the outside bristles 11 are finely separated. It is preferable for the outside bristles 11 to be polished before finely separating the bristle points. The inside bristles are preferably shorter than the outside bristles.
