PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a floor by a read floor data, and determine a position of a car by a read door zone data, by setting up a code device substantially adjacent to a sill or in the sill of the elevator car, and reading the floor data and the door zone data. SOLUTION: In a method determining a position of an elevator car 1, a code data included in a plurality of code devices 3 set up in a building is read by a code data detector device 4. In this case, the code device 3 including a floor data and a door zone data is set up substantially adjacent to a sill of an on/off getting floor door in each floor, and the detector device 4 reading the floor data and the door data is set up substantially adjacent to a sill of the car. |
