PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high security remote controller as a keyless entry device for a vehicle, in which ID codes can be easily registered in a receiver attached to the vehicle from the outside of the vehicle and thereafter, an unfavorable alteration can not be input. SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a first transmitter outputting codes for a register mode and a second transmitter outputting ID codes. Coded signals received in a receiver 12 are compared by a code comparator 23A of a microcomputer 23. When the signal coincides with a code for a register mode stored in a first memory 24A, an ID code register 23B works to cancel the code for the register mode stored in the first memory 24A and store an ID code of the second transmitter attached to respective cars in a second memory 24B. In this way, a high security remote controller is realized in such a manner that an ID code can be easily registered when incorporating it in a vehicle but an unfavorable ID can not be altered after the registration. |
