PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a transparent antireflection film useful for a solar cell, a solar water heater, a liquid crystal display apparatus, CRT, PDP, a window of a car or the like by serially laminating specific antireflective multilayers on a transparent base material. SOLUTION: This film is obtained by forming antireflection multilayers on a transparent base material at least one of which is a layer obtained by irradiating ultraviolet rays on the coated membrane of a composition composed of a metal alkoxide or its hydrolysate, an ultraviolet reactive metal alkoxide compound of the formula: M(R1 )m (R2 )n (OR3 )p M is a metal; O is oxygen; R1 is an ultraviolet reactive group of vinyl, isopropenyl, allyl or (meth)acryloyl; R2 is a 1-4C aliphatic hydrocarbon; R3 is a 1-4C hydrocarbon or H; (m)+(n)+(p)=(q) [(q) is a valence of a metal], (q)-1>=(m)>=1, (q)-1>=(p)>=1, (q)-1>=(n)>=0, and (m), (n) and (p) are each a positive integer}, an ultraviolet reactive compound other than the compound of the formula and an organic solvent. |
