PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the movement of the lead wire of a trim sender. SOLUTION: An outboard motor includes a swivel bracket 11 provided in such a way as to be rotatable about the rotating shaft 6 of a mounting bracket 2, an outboard motor main body 24 swingably mounted on the swivel bracket, a trim sender detecting the rotational angle of the swivel bracket, a rib 53 and a tilt stopper boss part 46 which are formed to project from the side face of the mounting bracket, a stopper pin 49 inserted into a through hole in the tilt stopper boss part and stopping the rotation of the swivel bracket, a groove 54 formed between the rib of the mounting bracket and the tilt stopper boss part, and a lead wire 63 fitted into the groove from the trim sender and guided to the outboard motor main body. |
