<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of the subject brake by simplifying a structure without providing a clutch mechanism, and to prevent traveling faster than a predetermined speed at releasing the brake. SOLUTION: An electromotive tricycle is driven in such a manner that a driving power generated by a driving motor 26 is transmitted through a driving mechanism 28 to rear wheels 24, 24. The driving mechanism 28 transmits the driving power between the driving motor 26 and the rear wheels 24, 24 either at traveling or stopping the electromotive tricycle, and does not have a clutch mechanism. An electromotive brake 48 is normally released at manual push and is engaged to control the speed before reaching a predetermined speed.</p> |
