<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor of jam treatment by changing transportation direction of a record sheet to the opposite direction of normal direction if necessary and by discharging the record sheet transported to the opposite direction out of a device body, in a transportation passage after the record sheet is reversed. SOLUTION: In a record sheet transportation path of a paper feeding part, an image forming part, a fixing/paper discharging part, and a both surface (reverse) part in a recording device body, first, when a jam occurs in the paper feeding part, a record sheet in the image forming part or a fixing/paper discharging part is discharged as it is. A record sheet P existing in the both surface path D after reverse operation is transported to the opposite direction of the original transportation direction by reversing a both surface transportation roller 06 through a reversible motor, and is discharged from a paper discharge opening out of the recording device body. Thus, it is sufficient for a user to perform a jam treatment of only the paper feeding part where a jam has actually occurred.</p> |
