<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent slant shift of a sheet by covering a sheet loading means with a cover means, restraining slant shift using a restraining member so that the sheets do not climb over a side restraining means when feeding of sheets. SOLUTION: In a multiple feeding device 100, a side guide 101 as a side restraining means for guiding the width direction orthogonal to a feed direction of paper P is movably supported on a multi-tray 102 as a sheet accommodating means. The paper P on the multi-tray 102 whose both sides are restrained not to be slantly shifted by the side guide 101 is fed by a paper feed roller, and is separated by a feed roller 106 and a separating roller 108 one by one. The separated paper P is fed to an image forming part, after the paper is provided with a downward curl by a pair of curl adding rollers having a sponge roller (soft roller) 7a with a large diameter and a metal roller 7b with a small diameter. A tray cover 11 as a cover means covering their upper surfaces is provided on the multi-tray 102.</p> |
