<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity and to improve a working environment by automating the assembly of work to a crankshaft on an engine assembly line. SOLUTION: A flywheel FW is taken out of a flywheel supply part 4 by a robot 10 and positioned along its rotating direction, and after an engine E conveyed by a conveyor 3 is stopped for positioning, the flywheel FW is positioned along the rotating direction of a crankshaft. Then a bolt distributing delivery device 60 receives a flywheel-mounting bolt from a bolt supply part 8, and the flywheel positioning/supporting guide pin of a work assembling/ clamping means 20 is replaced according to the kind of the flywheel. Then the flywheel and the bolt which were positioned by the robot 10 are supplied to the work assembling/clamping means 20 and the flywheel is assembled to the crankshaft and fixed in position by the bolt.</p> |
