<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the concentration of blood components in an organism accurately in a noninvasive manner. SOLUTION: A light source means 1 irradiates measuring light S having different wavelength components onto an organism 2, and a rectilinear light discriminator means 3 extracts rectilinear light components or scattered light components near to them from the light scattered by the organism 2. An extinction variation detector means 4 then detects the extinction variations of the rectilinear light components that the rectilinear light discriminator means 3 has extracted, and an arithmetic means 5 computes the blood component concentration from the extinction variation of the measuring light S for each wavelength component.</p> |
