PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition improved in solubility and absorbability by making a specific indolinone amorphous in the presence of a high molecular substance and inorganic porous substance. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by making (A) 3-bis(4- methoxyphenyl)methylene-2-indolinone amorphous in the presence of (B) a high molecular substance (e.g. hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose phthalate, polyvinyl pyrrolidone) and/or (C) pref. an inorganic porous substance (e.g. calcium silicate, hydrous silicon dioxide, light anhydrous silicic acid, synthetic aluminum silicate) in the form of particles having a size of about 1 to 100$μm. A process for setting the composition amorphous is conducted by a heatfusing method or solvent method using the components A and C or by a solvent method using the component B.
