A local system for processing and distributing potable water, consisting of the local processing 3, 23 of non- potable water 1 to potable water 24, the storage of the processed water 4 in tanks 5, 16 and its distribution at water intake points. Storage is done in an inlet tank 5 which is connected 17 to one or more storage tanks 16. The storage tanks 16 are connected together 19 and have a facility to be isolated 20 separately. The water intake point consists of a moving grid 27, 28 and a moving water intake pipe 39, 41 which is sterilised 43, 44 after each use. The command to operate the water intake is by the aid of a microchip card. |
