PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form transfer images having the vividness and fastness to friction not depending on a printing method by the use of a specific coloring material and a specific binder combined as a constitutional component of the heat melt type ink layer of a thermal recording medium. SOLUTION: The heat melt ink layer contains a compound A used as a coloring material shown by the formula A-1 or A-2 and a compound B used as a binder having a glass transfer point of 3-100 deg.C, a softening point of 40-120 deg.C, and an endothermic quantity of 10 cal/g or less caused by crystal fusion, and these are used through combination. Each of the compound A is yellow dye, and in the formula, R1 -R3 respectively show independently a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, an amino group, a sulfone group, a hydroxyl atom, a nitro group, a carboxylate group 1-1,000 hydrocarbon group that can be substituted. The R1 -R3 can be the same or different. |
