PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wrap a rice-ball in a good appearance without causing any wrinkles at protruding portions of a wrapping film at the corner parts of the rice-ball and, in addition, make a wrapping turret having a rice-ball housing pocket small in size and light in weight by improving the housing pocket for turning up and folding the wrapping film in a rice-ball wrapping machine. SOLUTION: A top corner of a triangular housing pocket 9 for housing a rice-ball and provided at a wrapping turret 10 is arranged so as to be directed toward the circumferential direction of the wrapping turret 10, and a top end of the top corner part is made to be directly opened into the outer side of a circumferential edge of the wrapping turret 10. Further, relief recesses 15 are provided on both sides of the bottom side of the housing pocket, and a notch 8' is formed in one side of a transfer bed plate 8, which feeds a rice-ball onto the wrapping turret 10, so as to communicate with the opening of the housing pocket 9 at the stop of operation, thereby reducing the diameter of the wrapping turret 10. |
