<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting method of a lining refractory which forms a slag coating layer on the surface of the lining refractory at the whole necessary position in a mixer car. SOLUTION: A lance 4 is inserted from a furnace opening part 3 of a mixer car 1 after discharging molten iron and residual slag 6 in the mixer car is spattered by blowing gas from the lance to form a slag coating layer 8 on a furnace wall. Further, the residual slag can be spattered toward conical parts 9 in the mixer car by inclining the lance inserted from the furnace opening part to the perpendicular direction. Furthermore, the lance can have an angle to the longitudinal direction of the lance in the blowing direction of the gas. The mixer car 1 can make it tilt in the range which the residual slag does not flow out, at the time of blowing the gas.</p> |
