PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition effective for killing weeds resistant to sulfonylurea herbicides, such as weeds belonging to the genus Lindernia, Vandellia angustifolia, Limnophila sessiliflora and Scirpus juncoides by compounding two kinds of specific compounds and a sulfonylurea compound. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) (RS)-2-(2,4-dichloro-m-tolyloxy) propionanilide in an amount of 30-90 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the composition, (B) a sulfonylurea compound [for example, methylα-(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2- ylcarbamoylsulfamoyl)-o-toluate] in an amount of 0.005-0.6 pts.wt. per pt.wt. of the component A, and (C) 2-[2-(3-chlorophenyl)-2,3-epoxypropyl)-2- ethylindane-1,3-dione in an amount of 0.1-1 pt.wt. per pt.wt. of the component A. The composition is preferably processed into an agricultural formulation and subsequently used at a dose of 0.01 g to 1 kg per 10 are as the active ingredient.
