PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately judge nonuniformity of outrigger reaction, ground bearing strength and crane overturning by operating outriggers so that a difference between an actual reaction value difference and an ideal reaction value difference falls within an allowable value on the left/right outriggers. SOLUTION: An actual reaction value P acting on respective outriggers is found (S3) on the basis of a strain valueε1 (S2) when overhanging/supporting the respective outriggers in no load. While, an ideal reaction value Pp in the outrigger overhanging length LH is found (S5) from a storage table by the second operation part. Next, a differenceΔP between actual reaction values PL, PR and a differenceΔPp between ideal reaction values PpL, PpR are found on the left/right outriggers to find a differenceΔPa=(ΔPp-ΔP) between the mutual differencesΔP andΔPp (S6). A differenceΔPa is displayed together with an allowable valueΔPb (S7), and an outrigger vertical cylinder is operated so that a difference Pa falls within an allowable value (±)ΔPb. Therefore, crane work can be safely performed by uniformizing reaction of the respective outriggers.
