<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the flow of a molten metal and the flowing direction certainly, accurately, and simply. SOLUTION: A valve for molten metal is composed of a valve receiving body 8 and a valve element 6 to be slidably put in pressure contact with the receiving body 8, in such an arrangement that the receiving body 8 and valve element 6 about in surfaces inclined relative to each other, wherein the slope of the receiving body 8 is furnished with a plurality of openings 15 leading to a plurality of passages 12, 13, etc., passing inside the valve receiving body while the slope of the valve element 6 is furnished with a plurality of openings leading to one or a plurality of passages 26 passing inside the valve element, and the receiving body 8 and valve element 6 slide on each other in pressure contacting body their slopes. Thereby the specified openings 15 in the slope of the receiving body are positionally coordinated with the specified openings in the slope of the valve element.</p> |
