PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas lubricant capable of precisely processing a work without inducing any heat deterioration thereto, also preventing environmental pollution from occurring, and saving energy in performing a mechanical processing such as cutting, and a method for processing by using the gas lubricant. SOLUTION: In this processing method, a gas lubricant obtained by cooling nitrogen and ejected from a control valve 6 which is changeable and capable of mixing nitrogen with a mist of vegetable oil, a gas lubricant composed of a mixture of nitrogen with the mist of the vegetable oil, a gas lubricant obtained by mixing the nitrogen with the mist of the vegetable oil and cooling, or a gas lubricant obtained by mixing cooled nitrogen with the vegetable oil, is ejected from a nozzle 9 to a machine processing part. |
