PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a small quantity of a surface-roughened thermoplastic resin sheet adapted to various uses such as a glare-free sheet, an interference fringe preventing sheet or the like and to enable multikind and small-quantity production. SOLUTION: In roughening the surface of a thermoplastic resin sheet A (sheet A), the sheet A is superposed on the roughened surface of a thermoplastic resin sheet B (sheet B) having at least one roughened surface so that the surface thereof is brought into contact with the roughened surface and, after both sheets are pressed under heating, the sheet B is removed to transfer the roughened surface shape of the sheet B to the surface of the sheet A.
