PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyphenol-containing milky acidic drink, inhibited or substantially prevented from coagulation and sedimentation of a milky protein of an acidic milk, further having both flavor derived from a polyphenol and good acidity by the acidic milk, and usable as a straight drink or a condensed drink, and further to provide a production method thereof. SOLUTION: This polyphenol-containing milky acidic drink is a milky acidic milk having pH 2.5-4.5, containing a complex of a milky protein and pectin having <=2.5 μm average particle diameter, and a polyphenol-containing food and drink component, and the coagutation or sedimentation of the milky protein is inhibited or prevented. The production method comprises homogenizing raw materials including the acidic milk regulated so as to have pH 2.5-4.5 and the pectin, adding the polyphenol-containing food and drink component to the homogenized raw materials and mixing the obtained mixture. |
