The coupling has a plate (10) spatially referenced (12,14,16,18) at the front and joined to the endface (5). The plate has a center hole for an anchoring tie (4) joined to the rear of the work support (2) and also for a bolt (30) coupled to the tie and screwed at the rear to the chuck (3). The bolt is guided axially in the plate and at its leading end carries locating balls (32,34) working in conjunction with the tie profile (42). At the rear, the bolt is coupled to the chuck via a bolt profile (52,55) engaged by a ball rim circle (6,7). The bolt is axially guided in the bore of a hollow cone (20) fixed to the rear face of the plate using a radial shoulder (58) on the bolt as support for the chuck. Pressure medium channels (62-66) in the bolt, plate and cone issue in reference marks (17) and the clamping force is increased by a compression spring bearing on the plate and bolt alike. |
