The assembly for the production of foodstuffs, and especially shaped chocolate products, has a scaffolding structure with longitudinal sections (1a, 1b) and connecting sections (2a-2c). A positive fit is formed at the intersections of the connecting sections (2a-2c), when assembled into the structure with the uprights (1a, 1b), support an outer thermal and acoustic insulation shrouding (5) at the scaffolding. The assembled connecting sections (2a-2c) support carrier rails (9) for product carriers, and especially the chocolate molds (6, 7) at a continuous chain (8). The connecting sections (2a-2c) have a clamping opening at both ends. Or the clamping opening is only at one end, and the other side is bonded with an upright (1a, 1b) to an outer shrouding (5) or a carrier rail (9).
