The construction board, comprising a plasterboard with laminated cardboard surfaces, has a V-shaped groove (4) in one surface, with a double-sided adhesive strip (7) applied to at least one side of the groove (4). The board (1), with the double-sided adhesive strip (7) on one side of the groove (4) is flat during storage and transport. When installed, the barrier layer is peeled off the adhesive strip (7), the board (1) is folded at the groove (4), and the adhesive strip (7) bonds the two sides of the groove (4) together at the fold.
