A combination lock which allows changing of the code when the lock is open has the number wheels (1) fitted to a mounting shaft (2) via coupling discs (3). Other hub discs (34,35,36) are selectively coupled to the number wheels and have heart shaped cams which are monitored by spring fingers (38) which are part of the spring assembly which aligns the different parts of the lock. When the lock is open the relative alignment of the number wheels and cams can be adjusted. |
