A plug-in connector (10) having a housing (12) of an insulating material and with at least one cavity as a contact chamber (20) for receiving a contact tip (22), which is provided with a locking hook (26) which extends up into a latching aperture (24) of the housing (12) for primary securement. The latching aperture (24) for the contact tip (22) is provided with a centrally arranged lengthwise web (32) which sub-divides the latching aperture into two narrow lengthwise slots (30).
