Optical wavelength light path deflection arrangement for an optical transmission or communications system

The arrangement has an array-waveguide (5) with several waveguides on a substrate (3). Several input and output waveguides (1;2) are arranged on the substrate. Input and output waveguide boards (4,6) couple the input and output waveguides to the array waveguide to form coupling sections. An optical wavelength multiplex signal coupled into one of the input waveguides is demultiplexed to output demultiplexed optical signals via the output waveguides according to the waveguide circulation pattern depending on the input waveguide position. The waveguides in the coupling sections are arranged with different intervals so that a maximum wavelength difference of the output optical signals is used.
