An air mixing system for a heating/air conditioning system (2) in a vehicle has an array of triangular airflow control elements linked by flexible walls and providing alternate air ducts. The relative spacing of the elements is adjustable to match the relative airflows and to ensure an even mixing in the mixing chambers (6) of the two input airflows into the outlet duct.
