The invention relates to a needle bearing comprising an outer ring (1) with a rim (2,3) on both ends, needles (4) which are guided parallel to the axis in a cage, and a lubricant storage area (9). The inventive bearing is characterized in that the lubricant storage area (9) is formed by a groove (8) arranged in the outer ring (1) and by a middle part (5) of the needles (4), whereby the diameter of said middle part is smaller than the remaining diameter of the needles (4).
