Monolithic ceramic electronic component, e.g. capacitor, especially with improved inner electrode

The component consists of a laminate (3) with several laminated ceramic layers (2), each produced from a sintered ceramic raw material powder layer, and an inner electrode (8,9) made of sintered metal powder and laid along a predefined contact surface between the ceramic layers. The ceramic layers are up to 3 mu m thick. The ceramic granules of the layers after sintering have a mean particle size of up to 0.5 mu m and the inner electrode is 0.2-0.7 mu m thick.
