A sliding sash window has preferably two window sashes (4, 5) which can slide within a frame. The vertical extremities of each of the sashes (4, 5) can be disconnected from the frame to allow the sashes (4, 5) to be pivoted inward for cleaning the outside surface of the glass pane. |
