The set of power distribution bars includes an insulating support block (66) consisting of two complementary pieces (66A, 66B). When assembled together these pieces define several internal channels (50) to receive the separate conductors of the multipolar current system. Each internal channel is offset w.r.t. the adjacent channels forming a stepped structure. Each conductor includes a T-shaped channel which is able to receive the head of a bolt, allowing connection of further conductors to the main rails. The two halves of the insulating support are held together by bolts passing through at right angles to the rails, and spaced at vertical intervals.
