PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts by integrating engaging members and conventional disengagement prevention members by forming disengagement prevention portions in the engaging members, and steeply simplify the assembly process wherein an ornamental body is affixed to a cover portion in a cover body of an air bag unit to which an ornamental body of a separate member is attached to a cover portion which covers an air bag. SOLUTION: The cover body of an air bag unit has a cover portion 22 which covers an air bag and an ornamental member 31 which is attached to this cover portion 22. This ornamental member 31 is provided with an ornamental body 33 located on the surface of the cover portion 22, a leg portion 35 which protrudes from this ornamental body 33 and passes through the cover portion 22, and an insertion hole 34b located on the back side of the cover portion 22 into which the leg portion 35 may be inserted. The ornamental member 31 is also provided with an engaging member 34 which engages with a claw portion 35a formed at the tip of the leg portion 35. Flex prevention means 34c is formed integrated with the engaging member 34, and prevents the claw portion 35a from flexing to the inside of the insertion hole 28b after the ornamental body 33 has been engaged. |
