PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information discriminating terminal control device that enables a telephone set to perform any of plural response operations on the basis of telephone number information of a transmitter terminal. SOLUTION: A calling sound is stopped for an incoming call of a sales call or a prank call that disables the detection of a caller's telephone number or the transmission message is automatically recorded, the message is automatically recorded if the telephone number is not included in a calling approval number set with a mode set button 7 by a user, when the caller's telephone number is detected, and a different calling sound is generated from a telephone set 1A by selection at the mode set button 7, if the telephone number is included in the calling approval number. Thus, wasteful dealing with sales calls or prank calls is avoided and for a incoming call for which the caller's telephone number is detected, the telephone set 1A generates the different calling sound by coordinating it by a ranking at the mode set button 7, or the message is recorded, the caller can be classified by his calling sound and appropriate response made, or can make contact with and efficiently perform telephone response on the basis of the recorded message. |
