PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a right facility name desired to be retrieved even when a user inputs a character string by omitting one character or inputs a character string of wrong reading. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a character string input means 11 for inputting a character string showing one part of or all the desired facility name to be retrieved, an additional character string generating means 12 for generating new plural character strings by adding one character between the characters of the inputted character string, a facility name retrieving means 13 for extracting the facility name including the generated character string from a facility name database, a facility name database 14 storing and constructing facility names with character strings as keys, and a facility name display means 15 for displaying the extracted plural facility names. In place of the additional character string generating means 12, a replaced character string generating means can be provided as well for generating new plural character strings by replacing one character of the inputted character string with the other character. |
