PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control method for a cordless telephone set that is is able to prevent extra noises from being included in a sound signal line at communication. SOLUTION: This communication control method for a cordless telephone set conducts communicates by performing cordless transmission and reception of a signal through the use of a security code and a command between a stationary set 1 and a portable set 3. After transmitting a command transmission information signal, to which a frequency shift is applied for a fixed time from a center frequency before transmitting the security code and the command from the transmission side out of the stationary set 1 and the portable set 3 to the reception side, a frequency-shifted command transmission information signal is received in the reception side out of the stationary set 1 and the portable set 3, and a sound signal line in this reception side is muted for a fixed time by a mute signal which is generated on the basis of this command transmission information signal.
