PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a latch which prevents a spare rope or the like from being wound on a cable when the cable is strung inside a duct and whose operating efficiency is enhanced, by a method wherein a guide rope is connected to the front of a body, the cable is connected to its rear, the spare rope or the like is connected to the wing part of a latch member at a body shaft part, and the latch member is installed so as to be freely turnably with reference to the body shaft part. SOLUTION: An auxiliary ropelike body 1 for cable stringing is constituted of a body 2, which is constituted of a front connection part 2, of a shaft part 5 and of a rear connection part 8, of a latch member 3 which is constituted of a wing part, and of a thrust bearing between the body 2 and the latch member 3. A guide rope 108 is connected to the front connection part 4, and the tip of a connecting net 106 for a cable 105 is fixed to the rear connection part 8. The latch member 3 is freely turnable around the central axes of the shaft part 5 at the body 2. Latch rings 15, 16 are connected to the wing part so as to be freely turnable, and respective tips of a spare rope 112 and a grounding wire 113 are connected via twist return implements 107. When the cable 105 is strung inside a duct, the cable 105 is rotated due to its twist curl, and the body 2 is turned accordingly, and the latch member 3 is not turned. |
