PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device where toner is effectively carried on a supply roller. SOLUTION: A sub hopper 421A in which a developer carrier 310 and the supply roller 440 are arranged and a main hopper 421B in which an agitator 451 is arranged are adjacently disposed, and 1st and 2nd top parts H1 and H2 whose height is different are provided on the partition wall 421 of a toner tank separating the hopper 421A from the hopper 421B. The height of the 1st top H1 at a high position is set to be lower than the position of the center of rotation of the agitator 451, and the height of the 2nd top H2 at a low position on the hopper 421 side is set to be equal to or above the position of the center of rotation of the roller 440. |
