PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device for an automatic transmission which executes shift controlling skipping middle shift stages and executes shift controlling minimizes a time-lag from when it is judged that shift is necessary to practically shifting. SOLUTION: When it is judged that up-shift is needed (S220: YES, S240), if a change speed of a throttle opening dTVO has a relation of dTVO<d1 (dTVO, d1<0) (S250: YES), up-shifting is not executed. After that, when up-shift requiring judgement is accomplished again (S290: YES), up-shift skipping middle sift stages to the shift stage on the basis of the new judgement is executed by an automatic transmission. On the other hand, when the throttle opening dTVO has a relation of dTVO>=d1 (S250: NO), up-shift on the basis of the first judgement is immediately executed by the automatic transmission. |
