PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polylactate resin composition capable of giving a molding having flexibility, heat resistance, and controlled biodegradability by mixing a mixture of a flexible biodegradable resin with a polylactic acid with a highly compatible plasticizer and a natural product in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. composition containing 90-50 wt.%, based on the total weight of the composition, polylactic acid and 10-50 wt.% aliphatic polyester with 5-25 pts.wt. plasticizer and 0.1-30 pts.wt. natural product. It is desirable that the aliphatic polyester used is a polybutylene succinate. The plasticizer used is at least one member selected among aliphatic polybasic acid esters, aliphatic polyhydric alcohol esters, and hydroxy acid esters. It is desirable that the natural product used is at least one member selected from the group consisting of starch, cellulose, chitin, and chitosan. This composition is characterized by having a modulus of about 200 to 1,000 Mpa and a heat resistance temperature of about 60 to 120 deg.C. |
