<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain highly precise coordinate detection in spite of the deformation of a vibration waveform due to a writing pressure at the time of input. SOLUTION: A coordinate input device is provided with a vibration transmission board and a vibration input pen inputting elastic wave vibration on the vibration transmission board. In a step S11, two group delay times tg1 and tg2 and phase delay time tp are acquired until the elastic wave vibration reaches a vibration sensor after it is inputted by the vibration input pen. In a step S12, an input writing pressure when the elastic wave vibration is inputted by the vibration input pen is detected based on the two group delay times tg1 and tg2. In a step S13, the group delay time used for coordinate calculation is decided based on the detected input wiring pressure. Then, in a step S14, a coordinate position on the vibration transmission board, which is instructed by the vibration input pen, is calculated based on the delay times obtained in the steps S11 and S13.</p> |
