<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and cost of an image forming device. SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises an image forming part 1 for forming images on a sheet 13 fed thereto, a switchback part 12 for reversing the sheet 13 with images formed on one side by the image forming part 1 in a switchback manner, and a sheet retransfer part for inverting the sheet 13 reversed by the switchback and feeding it again to the image forming part 1 where it is formed with images on the other side. The image forming device further has a sheet ejection part 6 located above the image forming part 1 to receive the sheet 13 with images thus formed on both sides for ejection. The switchback part 12 is situated in the space between the image forming part 1 and sheet ejection part 6.</p> |
