PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the drop in the wasteful throughput by providing a terminal station, with a means that notifies packet discard by radio with a TCP layer at the time of detecting the discard of a transmission packet by radio from a base station to the other terminal, when the packet is sent from a terminal to the other terminal. SOLUTION: When there is an error in a packet sent from a base station 2 and a receiving terminal 3 is unable to recover the error, when a sending terminal performs transmission the terminal 3 through the station 2 according to a transmission rate held by a transmission rate controlling part 13 during transmission, a radio discard detecting part 30a of a radio controlling part 30 detects a radio discard. Detected discard information is notified from the terminal 3 to the terminal 1 through the station 2. The terminal 1 receives a radio discard notice in a radio discard receiving part 11 of a TCP controlling part 10, starts a resending controlling part 12 and resends a discarded packet by the use of transmission rate and a window size which are held by the part 13. |
