PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a doctor to recognize important information for medical judgement by integrating huge and fragmentary patient information, and compiling the information. SOLUTION: This hospital information system is provided with a patient database 7 which stores patient information, a knowledge base 8 which stores knowledge for medical verification of patient information stored in the patient database 7, and a medical verifying mechanism 46 which verifies the patient information of the patient database 7 based on the knowledge for medical verification in the knowledge base 8 and feedback it to a medical care field. Also, the system is provided with medical verification requesting means 57 and 67 for designating the object of the medical verification and a verification rule base 47 which reads the knowledge for medical verification requested by the medical verification requesting means 57 and 67 from the knowledge base 8, and pools it. |
