PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the film strength, durability, resistance to deposition of contaminant, and heat resistance by applying an adhesive layer having specified film thickness which is formed by polymerizing and hardening monomers having epoxy groups under a low refractive index layer. SOLUTION: As the material for a low refractive index layer as the uppermost layer of this antireflection film, a solgel film having a low refractive index and high film strength is used. To improve adhesion between the solgel film and the lower layer, an adhesive layer having l to 50 nm thickness is formed by coating between the layers. As the material of the adhesive layer, various org. or org.-inorg. composite materials can be used. For example, polymers of vinyl monomers, epoxy resin, organosilane condensed body polyester resin, melamine resin, urea resin, phenol resin and polyurethane resin are preferably used. Moreover, it is preferable that the material of the adhesive layer has functional groups which react with the material of the low refractive index layer. As the functional groups, epoxy groups are especially preferable. |
