<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take out a recording paper and a recording paper bundle loaded on a paper duscharge tray by making a paper discharge tray stand by or move in a direction vertical in the recording paper discharging direction and to this side when a job is finished by discharging the recording paper and/or the recording paper bundle sheet tray. SOLUTION: A CPU controlling a sheet aftertreating device rotates a worm wheel 62 by 180 deg. by rotating a shift motor 38 in the case when a paper discharge tray 5 is shifted to the deep side of the device at the time when a job is finished. Thereafter, the shift motor 38 is stopped at the time when a rotation detection sensor 60 detects a starting end of a short cutout part 58a of a disc 58 and cuts it off as the paper discharge tray 5 is shifted to the front side of the device from an output signal of the rotation detection sensor 60, and the paper discharge tray 5 is shifted to this side of the device and made to stand by. As the paper discharge tray 5 is constantly shifted to this side after the job is finished by this movement, it becomes easy for a user to handle a recording paper and a recording paper bundle from the paper discharge tray 5.</p> |
