PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically examine the copyright of digital data provided on a network. SOLUTION: In the routine for examining the copyright of digital data, hyper link information is extracted from the site to provide the digital data on the network (S20) and the routine to examine the copyright of digital data is recursively called to the site of the reference destination specified by the extracted hyper link information with the hyper link information as a parameter (S23). At such a time, in order to prevent processing from falling into infinite loop, the site examining the copyright is recorded in a table but the routine to examine the copyright of the digital data is not recursively called to the site recorded in the table (S21, S22 and S24). |
