<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of an electronic device by providing vibration and/or shock absorbing materials in between lid members covering the disk device housing part of the housing of an electronic device in which a disk device is incorporated and the disk device to prevent the destruction of data of the disk device (especially an HDD) due to shocks. SOLUTION: Sheet materials 6 on which plural vibration and/or shock absorbing materials which are cut into small pieces 3 are attached are provided in between lid members 2 covering the disk device housing part of a housing in which a disk device 1 is incorporated and the disk device 1. As the shock absorbing material, a martial which is of porous and whose friction factor is large is used and, moreover, vibration and/or shock absorbing materials 4, 5 are provided in between the lower bottom surface and inner side surfaces of the disk device housing part and the disk device. Then, these vibration and/or shock absorbing materials 3, 4, 5 are composed of materials whose vibration and/or shock absorbing characteristics are different with each other. Thus, the deformation is not generated and electric short circuits due to dew condensation and the destruction of the data of the disk device due to shocks of wide widths are prevented.</p> |
