PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To catch volatile substances such as formaldehyde or the like generating from an adhesive used for interior members or the like by fixing a catching agent on the connection face of the interior members or sticking a sheet-form material including the catching agent thereon. SOLUTION: A tongue 10A and a recess 10b are formed on a pair of confronting faces of a rectangular composite base board, in a decorative wooden floor interior member A1. A liquid formaldehyde catching agent is applied on an upper vertical face 10a1, a tongue upper face 10a2, and an upper vertical face 10b1. A sheet-form material including the formaldehyde catching agent may be stuck on the upper vertical face 10b1, an upper face 10b2, the upper vertical face 10a1, the upper and lower faces 10a2, 10a4 of the tongue, and the front end face 10a3 of the tongue. The formaldehyde catching agent is a liquid or a powder material or the like. It may be adjusted for a composition for application. In this way, formaldehyde or other volatile substances generating from interior members can be efficiently caught to greatly reduce diffusion into a room.
